Agility Impact was created in response to the Agile 2022 panel discussion It Was Never Just About Software – Agile and Our Planetary Challenges, created and moderated by Lyssa Adkins and featuring panelists Jutta Eckstein, Sally Elatta, Aanu Gopald, Joanne Stone, and Pia Fåk Sunnanbo.
We believe that Agile was meant for something beyond development and is a powerful companion tool for dealing with the complex, gnarly, and wicked challenges of our planet. We know that Agile is not the “solution” for planetary challenges; it is how the collective comes together with the variety of backgrounds and tools that will make the difference.
Our vision is to make small meaningful steps of action towards planetary challenges locally, so we can create hope globally. A very aspiring vision that passionate Agilists support. To bring this vision to life, our deeply connected and energized community are doing the following:
• Inspiring action and compassion through stories of how agility has impacted the wicked (gnarly) problems of our planet,
• Sharing practices and experiments so that we can learn from each other,
• Identifying and sharing projects where we can support each other, succeed and learn,
• Making visible all the great impact we are making across the globe.
Agility Impact is where our community can connect and keep this movement moving forward. We are glad you are here. You will find below how to connect with this community and the projects we are currently working on.
